A genuine outdoor living space

As soon as the fine weather arrives, the terrace becomes a living space in its own right: family meals, drinks with friends, moments of relaxation or reading in the sun. When well designed, it creates a smooth link between the house and the garden, extends a swimming pool or fits into the heart of a landscaping project, and fully contributes to your quality of life.

Its success rests on choices studied with precision: positioning, exposure, load-bearing structure, water drainage and surfacing. It is this rigour of design that guarantees the stability, comfort of use and longevity of the structure.

Choosing the right timber for your terrace

European timbers

Pine is the most widely used European timber for terraces. Sourced from fast-growing species, this naturally soft wood is given a deep treatment (class IV) to withstand damp, insects and the weather.

  • Lifespan: around 15 years
  • Class IV deep treatment
  • Good value for money

Exotic timbers

Ipe, cumaru, itauba or teak: dense and naturally rot-proof, exotic timbers offer remarkable longevity and stability without chemical treatment, along with the warm aesthetic of a prestige wood. As part of a responsible approach, we favour labelled and certified timbers.

  • Lifespan: 35 years minimum
  • Natural class IV to V
  • Excellent resistance to outdoor wear

Composite timbers

Made from recycled materials, composite withstands weather, UV, fungi and insects. It does not grey, requires no particular maintenance and comes in a wide range of colours and finishes.

  • Lifespan: over 35 years
  • Rot-proof and recyclable
  • Maintenance-free, wide choice of shades

Natural stone and concrete complete this range for mineral terraces. We will guide you towards the material best suited to your use, your budget and the architecture of your home.
